Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg / Telemetry for a travel assignment in Onancock, Virginia. This RN will cover Med-Surg and Telemetry units, focusing on adult patients before and after procedures and managing postoperative care.

The role requires an active RN license, a nursing degree from an accredited program, and a minimum of 18 months in acute Med-Surg care, with a night shift on a 12-hour schedule. Travel work and 48 hours per week are standard.

Qualifications

• Active RN license is required.
• Degree from an accredited nursing program.
• BLS certification is required.
• Eighteen months of recent Med-Surg Acute Care experience.

Responsibilities

• Care for adult Med-Surg patients pre- and post-operatively.
• Provide routine treatments and post-surgical care.
• Assess patient health status and document changes accurately.
• Administer prescribed medications and monitor response.
