Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a Telemetry RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Corpus Christi, TX. You will provide comprehensive cardiac monitoring and nursing care in a telemetry unit, delivering patient-centered care and coordinating with the healthcare team.

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as a Telemetry RN.
• Current Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC).
• Current ACLS Certification.

Responsibilities

• Monitors and interprets cardiac rhythms, vital signs, and other telemetry data to detect abnormalities and respond appropriately.
• Administers prescribed medications and treatments with a focus on cardiac care.
• Prepares equipment and aids physician during cardiac-related procedures and examinations.
• Maintains awareness of comfort and safety needs of telemetry patients.
• Observes patient, records significant conditions and reactions, notifies supervisor or physician of status.
• Responds to life-saving situations according to policies and protocols for cardiac emergencies.
• Documents nursing history and physical assessments for telemetry patients.
• Initiates patient education plans focusing on cardiac health and lifestyle modifications.
• Collaborates with the interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive telemetry care.
• Maintains confidentiality of patients and clients.
• Performs other duties as assigned within scope of practice.
• Adheres to safety protocols, infection control, and regulatory standards.
