Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a Telemetry travel nurse in Aurora, Colorado for a 13-week assignment. The RN will work 36 hours per week on rotating 12-hour shifts in a travel role.

Candidates should have 1–2 years of acute care experience and BLS certification. The job includes bedside care, monitoring equipment, interpreting telemetry data, and notifying the medical team of any abnormal readings.

Qualifications

• BLS certification required
• 2 years of experience in acute care (1–2 years)

Responsibilities

• Provide basic bedside care.
• Monitor and adjust specialized equipment used on patients, and interpret and record electronic displays.
• Identify irregular telemetry readings and notify appropriate medical team members.
• Initiate corrective action whenever information from monitoring equipment shows adverse symptomatology.
