Job summary

• Coordinate with the unit and participate in orientation and on-call requirements as applicable.

TRAVELER WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR SELF-STUDYING TELEMETRY STRIPS UPON ACCEPTANCE. A BASIC DYSRHYTHMIA TEST OUT WILL BE GIVEN DURING ORIENTATION. THIS MUST BE PASSED IN ORDER TO WORK IN THIS UNIT. Delivers care to patients utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, intervention, implementation, and evaluation in coordination with other health team members. Effectively interacts with the patient, significant others, and other health team members while maintaining high standards of professional nursing. Provides high-quality care to the following patient populations: Geriatric, Medical/Surgical, Adult, and Telemetry. ACLS Required. Estimated work week 24-hours with the possibility of overtime. Every other weekend rotation. Every other holiday rotation may be required. EPIC EMR Experience in a like unit within the last 12 months required.

Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 24.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
