These positions will provide support for the unit during surge.**TRAVELER WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR SELF-STUDYING TELEMETRY STRIPS UPON ACCEPTANCE. A BASIC DYSRHYTHMIA TEST OUT WILL BE GIVEN DURING ORIENTATION. THIS MUST BE PASSED IN ORDER TO WORK IN THIS FLOAT POOL.Delivers care to patients utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, intervention, implementation, and evaluation in coordination with other health team members. Effectively interacts with the patient, significant others, and other health team members while maintaining high standards of professional nursing. Provides high quality care to the following patient populations: Geriatric, Medical/Surgical, Adult, Psychiatric and Telemetry. ACLS Required. Estimated work week 36-hours with the possibility of overtime. Every other weekend rotation. Every other holiday rotation is required. EPIC EMR Experience in a like unit within the last 12 months required.
