ARMStaffing is seeking a travel nurse RN with Telemetry for a travel nursing job in Longview, Texas. The assignment covers 36 hours per week with 12-hour day shifts, starting 08/31/2026 for 13 weeks.

The RN must hold an TX license (or compact), current BLS and ACLS, and have at least 2 years of experience in Telemetry or related care. ARMStaffing provides housing allowance, travel reimbursement, and other benefits.

Responsibilities

Job Description

The competent Nurse, in the same or similar clinical setting, practices independently and demonstrates an awareness of all relevant aspects of a situation. Provides routine and complex care, with the ability to meet long-range goals or plans. Continues to develop the ability to cope with and manage contingencies of clinical nursing. Makes appropriate assignments and delegates to other care providers as a means to help manage the clinical situation.

Responsibilities

• Consistent with the ANA Scope and Standards of Practice, provides nursing care utilizing the nursing process, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation for assigned patients.
• Addresses increasingly complex psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families in accordance with their level of practice.
• Using appropriate protocols, administers medications and treatments; monitors for side effects and effectiveness of treatment prescribed.
• Documents patient history, symptoms, medication, and care given.
• Assesses learning needs and provides education to patients, family members, and/or caregivers; identifies issues and resources.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing preferred.
