Job Summary

Telemetry (TELE) Registered Nurse (RN) Night shifts in an acute care facility. This role involves providing specialized nursing care for patients with cardiac monitoring needs, including those with neurologic and medical-surgical conditions. The position requires managing a diverse patient population, ensuring safety, and maintaining high-quality patient care.

Job Details

• Certifications: BLS (AHA), NIHSS; Degree Requirements: RN license; Location Requirements: within 50 miles of the facility; Years of Experience: 0;
• Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum 36 hours per week;
• Department: Med Surg Neuro 4th Floor North, caring for patients including stroke, neurosurgery, joint replacements, fractures, COPD exacerbation, GI bleeds, pneumonia, and other medical-surgical diagnoses;
• Responsibilities include managing patient care on Med Surg/Tele units, interpreting telemetry strips, responding to patient needs, and collaborating with team members;
• Float: Float rotation may be required;
• Additional notes: Mechanical lifts in some rooms, emphasis on hourly rounding, managing multiple admissions and discharges daily, maintaining good attendance, teamwork, compassion, and cultural sensitivity;
• Required: Candidate must have valid drivers license; minimal background or license hits considered; 2 years of minimum experience preferred;
