Job Summary:
Telemetry (TELE) Nurse in a hospital setting. This position involves providing specialized care to adult patients requiring cardiac telemetry monitoring. The role includes managing critical cardiac parameters, administering medications, and implementing protocols to ensure patient stability during a permanent night shift in a facility that supports a diverse patient population with a focus on cardiac care.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) and National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS), 2 years of nursing experience preferred, with prior experience in telemetry units. Valid license in the state or compact license must be in hand at the time of submittal.
• Preferred Qualifications: Travel experience preferred.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information:
  • Manage cardiac telemetry, arterial line, and vascular access devices.
  • Perform patient assessments, interpret dysrhythmias, and manage medication protocols including vasoactive drips.
  • Provide care for adults, with a daily census of approximately 36 patients.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including respiratory services, physical therapy, and pharmacy.
  • Complete onboarding modules within 48 hours of contract signing.

Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
