The RN must hold a valid Texas license or compact, have a minimum of two years’ experience in Med Surg with Telemetry, and be proficient in Epic charting. BLS certification and venous access skills are required.

Job Summary

Medical Surgical with Telemetry (MS TELE) registered nurses are needed for a night shift position at a healthcare facility. The role involves providing high-quality patient care to adult and geriatric populations in a 36-bed unit with a patient ratio of six patients per nurse. The assignment begins on October 6, 2026, and concludes on January 5, 2027, offering an excellent opportunity to apply clinical expertise in a dynamic environment.

Job Details

• Schedule: Nights, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid state or compact license, two years of experience, experience in Medical Surgical with Telemetry unit, proficiency with Epic charting system, BLS certification, ability to manage ports, blood products, cardiac telemetry, venous access devices including PICC lines and central lines, and perform sedation management, wound care, and use of rapid response team protocols.
• Preferred Qualifications: Trauma Level II experience is preferred.
• Float: Float rotation may be required to units of equal acuity.
• Additional Information: This role involves managing adult and geriatric patients, with interdisciplinary support including physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, radiology, pharmacy, and social services. Oncology, LTAC, or trauma experience is not required but may be beneficial. Candidates should be prepared to complete onboarding within 48 hours of contract signing and be able to attend onsite orientation to complete required modules, totaling an estimated 4-6 hours for registered nurses.

Pay and Contract
