Job summary

Qualifications

• Must have acute med/surg experience within the last year.
• Ability to care for 4–6 patients at a time.
• Hospital telemetry background preferred (ortho or neuro-surgery)

Responsibilities

• Care for med/surg telemetry patients.
• Perform standard nursing duties: IV insertions, catheter insertion/maintenance, central line maintenance; administer medications; document in EHR.

• Day Shift – 1 chg, 2 rn, 1 pca
• Night Shift – 1 chg, 2 rn, 1 pca

Patient Ratios – maximum 6:1

Skill Set Most recruited for:

• Must have: candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role.
• Acute med/surg experience 1 years within the last year
• Ability to care for 4-6 patients at a time
• Preferred or nice to have: candidates with these skills will be considered first.
• Acute med/surg experience 2 years w/in the last year
• Would prefer RN's w/ortho or neuro-surgery background. Med/Surg/Telemetry background would suffice.
