• Preferred Qualifications: Prior neuro experience; experience with Alaris and EPIC.
• Additional Job Details:
  • Assignments include working on multiple units, including cardiac, neuro, oncology, rehabilitation, renal, bariatrics, orthopedics, trauma, and emergency observation.
  • Nurse-to-patient ratios are approximately 1:5-6 based on acuity levels.
  • Candidate must have a minimum of 2 years of recent MS-Telemetry experience, with a preference for neuro experience.
  • Must be able to titrate titratable drips such as Heparin.
  • The role involves floating across different units within Zone 4, including general medical, surgical, and specialized units.
  • Schedules are released 4 to 6 weeks in advance; flexibility is required to assist with gaps in staff scheduling.
  • Night shift with occasional weekend work (6-9 weekends over a 6-week schedule); may be asked to participate in holiday rotation; call or standby are rare.
  • First float assignment will be communicated on or before the start date.
  • Charting is performed on EPIC; BSN is not required; license to submit is necessary.
