Job Summary

Telemetry Medical Surgical Float (Telemetry MS Float) at a healthcare facility in a general location. The role requires flexibility to float to multiple units and adapt to diverse patient care needs.

Job Details

Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, with a minimum of 36 hours per week

Required Qualifications

• Active New Hampshire (NH) or Compact Registered Nurse (RN) license;
• up-to-date resume showing 2+ years of experience in an acute care setting and documenting relevant travel experience;
• skills checklist matching specialty;
• BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), NIHSS (National Institute of Health Stroke Scale);
• NURSYS report verifying all active RN licenses;
• RTO (Request for Time Off) must be included at the time of submission;
• experience with Cerner electronic medical record system preferred but not required;
• ability to handle Cardizem and Insulin Drips (insulin for hyperglycemia, not diabetic ketoacidosis), Phenobarbital on Tele;
• willingness to consider first-time travelers with good experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Cerner EMR is preferred but not required;
• ability to float to psych annex and lower acuity units as needed;
• flexibility to float on an emergency basis to another hospital location.

Float

Float rotation may be required to other units and facilities.

Additional Information

Candidates may be asked to float to additional locations on an emergency basis. The position involves night shifts and requires certification and experience appropriate for medical-surgical telemetry settings.
