Job summary

Gifted Healthcare in Muskogee, OK is seeking Telemetry RNs to collaborate with the care team in assessing, planning, and evaluating patient care plans, using telemetry and monitors.

You will prepare, administer, and record prescribed medications, assist physicians, identify irregular readings, and monitor telemetry around the clock during 3x12 night shifts.

• Monitor specialized equipment used on patients and interpret electronic displays.
• Identify irregular telemetry readings and notify the appropriate medical team member.
• Prepare, administer, and record prescribed medications and report an adverse reaction to medications in accordance with policies.
• Prepare equipment and assist physician during examination and treatment of patient.

Job description

Telemetry RNs (Tele RNs) consult with health care team members to assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care plans. The Tele RN utilizes machines that measure a patient’s heart rate, blood pressure, breathing rate, as well as blood oxygen levels and electrocardiogram information. Tele RN job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Tele RNs prepare, administer, and record prescribed medications and report an adverse reaction to medications in accordance with policies
• Prepare equipment and assist physician during examination and treatment of patient
• Identify irregular telemetry readings and notify the appropriate medical team member
