Pavion seeks a Travel Technician to support our security business unit. The role involves maintenance, installation, and service of low voltage cable, access control and video systems, plus programming and end-user training.

Ideal candidates have 2–4 years of field experience, a valid driver license, and strong organizational skills to manage onsite tasks efficiently. LEA certification is a plus, with comprehensive benefits offered.

Qualifications

  • Valid driver license and acceptable driving record.
  • Organized and detail oriented.
  • Ability to operate hand and power tools.
  • LEA Certification is preferred.

Pavion and our family of companies are seeking a talented and motivated Travel Technician to join our security business unit.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for maintenance, repairs and installation of low voltage cable, access control and video systems
  • Assist with new programming and re-programming of related security software
  • End-user training
  • Provide technical phone support to customers
  • Electronics and mechanical aptitude

Basic Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma
  • 2-4 years of experience in maintenance, repairs and installation of low voltage cable, access control and video systems
  • Valid driver license and acceptable driving record
  • Organized and detail oriented
  • Ability to operate hand and power tools

Preferred Qualifications:

  • LEA Certification

The hourly pay range for this position is $30.00-$40.00 per hour . The starting hourly pay will be determined based on qualifications, experience, education, skills, certificates, and internal equity. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package.
