Job summary

Pavion is seeking a Travel Technician to join our Security business unit. The role involves maintenance, installation and service on low voltage cable, access control and video systems at client sites nationwide.

You will work with Lenel certified equipment and provide end-user training when needed. Ideal candidates have 2–4 years of hands-on experience, a valid driver license, and strong electronics/mechanical aptitude.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma required.
  • 2-4 years experience in maintenance, repairs and installation of low voltage cable, access control and video systems.
  • Valid driver license and acceptable driving record; Lenel certified.
  • Organized and detail oriented; able to operate hand and power tools.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain, repair and install low voltage cable, access control and video systems.
  • Assist with new programming and re-programming of related security software.
  • End-user training and technical phone support.
  • Demonstrate electronics and mechanical aptitude.

Pavion and our family of companies are seeking a talented and motivated Travel Technician to join our security business unit.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for maintenance, repairs and installation of low voltage cable, access control and video systems
  • Assist with new programming and re-programming of related security software
  • End-user training
  • Provide technical phone support to customers
  • Electronics and mechanical aptitude
Basic Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma
  • 2-4 years of experience in maintenance, repairs and installation of low voltage cable, access control and video systems
  • Valid driver license and acceptable driving record
  • Lenel certified
  • Organized and detail oriented
  • Ability to operate hand and power tools
Preferred Qualifications:
  • LEA Certification
  • Manufacturer Certifications are a plus (i.e. Lenel, AMAG, SWH, Genetec, Avigilon, Hanwha, Axis)

The hourly pay range for this position is $30.00-$40.00 per hour. The starting hourly pay will be determined based on qualifications, experience, education, skills, certifications, and internal equity. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package.
