This position involves performing preventive maintenance and repairs on medium to heavy-duty fleet vehicles, diagnosing mechanical and electrical issues, and documenting work orders. Pay is $38.00–$43.00/hour with weekly pay and benefits start within 30 days.

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ hands-on experience performing diesel vehicle maintenance and repairs.
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to own and maintain the personal tools and toolbox required for the role
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Willingness to meet the physical demands of the position
• Must be eligible to pass pre-employment screenings (drug screen and DOT physical if required)

Amerit Fleet Solutions, a leader in fleet maintenance across the U.S., is hiring a skilled Travel Diesel Technician/Mechanic to join our team in Allentown, PA

Travel Tech position that requires Diesel experience. This role requires flexibility, as travel may be scheduled on short notice and can result in sudden changes to your work schedule. Candidates should be comfortable adapting to shifting priorities and working in fast‑paced, dynamic, and sometimes ambiguous environments.

Pay & Schedule

Pay: $38.00 – $43.00/hour (based on experience)Pay Frequency: Weekly pay – every FridaySchedule: Mon-Frid 8:00am - 4:30pm

Working Conditions

This role involves working in a mobile and or shop environment that may include exposure to dust, diesel fumes, noise, and mechanical irritants such as oils and greases. Technicians must be able to perform essential functions that include lifting heavy objects, accessing tight spaces, and bending, stooping, crouching, or crawling as needed to complete repairs.
