Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist for a hospital OR in the East Stroudsburg area. The role requires 2+ years of experience and NBSTSA/NCCT certification, with BLS on file. Expect 3x12 hour day shifts, cross-coverage across service lines, and on-call duties.

Ideal candidates may have trauma level II experience and AST membership preferred. Epic charting is used for documentation and case management.

Qualifications

• NBSTSA or NCCT Certified Surgical Technologist credential required.
• BLS certification required.
• Minimum of 2 years of Surgical Technologist experience.
• License/certification valid at time of consideration.
• Trauma Level II experience preferred.
• AST membership preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support OR procedures across general, vascular, ortho, gynecology, urology, ENT, plastics.
• Maintain sterile fields and assist with instrument handling.
• Prepare equipment and specimens; document accurately.
• Work 3x12 hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM.
• Float across service lines; on-call requirements.
• Utilize Epic charting system.
