Job summary

Adventist Health Glendale in Glendale, CA seeks a Surgical Technologist for a travel assignment in Surgery/Operating Room. This 8-week contract offers a 2nd shift (10:30 AM–7:00 PM) and 40 hours per week.

Candidates must be a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) with recent OR experience and proficiency across multiple specialties, including Total Joint, Trauma, Neuro/Spine, Vascular, and Robotics. BLS is required.

Qualifications

• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) required.
• Recent Operating Room/Surgical Tech experience.
• Proficiency in multiple surgical specialties.
• Experience with Total Joint, Trauma, Neuro/Spine, Vascular, and Robotics.
• BLS certification required.
• High School Diploma or GED; Associate/Technical degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain the sterile field.
• Assist with instrumentation, supplies, and surgical equipment.
• Perform surgical counts with the RN.
• Maintain aseptic technique and sterile field standards.
