Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a Surgical Technologist (Surg Tech CST) for a travel assignment in Norfolk, Nebraska. You will join a team providing high-quality perioperative care in a fast-paced environment.

Expect competitive pay and a comprehensive benefits package as part of an established, Joint Commission-certified agency. Requirements include 1+ year CST experience, NBSTSA certification recommended, state license/registration if required, and AHA BLS.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of recent CST experience in a surgical setting.
• NBSTSA certification recommended.
• State license/registration if required by state.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).
• Professional references.
• Additional requirements provided by the Recruiter.

Responsibilities

• Assist surgeon during surgery and prep patients for procedures.
• Move and transfer patients to and from the OR.
• Maintain aseptic technique and sterilize instruments and OR equipment.
• Manage surgical supply inventory and place orders as needed.
• Opportunity to specialize in certain case types and settings.
