Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) to join our Charlotte, NC team. You will support the operating room team, prep patients, and maintain aseptic technique to ensure safe, efficient surgeries.

The role offers competitive pay, benefits starting Day 1, and opportunities to work in magnet and teaching hospitals across North Carolina. NBSTSA certification is preferred, and state licensure as required may apply.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of CST experience required.
• NBSTSA national certification is highly recommended.
• Licensed/registered Surgical Technologist as required by your state.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) required.

Responsibilities

• Assist surgeon during procedures and transfers to/from the OR.
• Prep patients and position them on the operating table.
• Maintain aseptic technique and assist with instrument sterilization and OR cleaning.
• Manage surgical supply inventory and place orders as needed.
• Opportunities to specialize in particular case types and clinical settings.
