Job summary

GTT Healthcare Staffing Solutions seeks a travel Surgical Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Boston, MA. The ideal candidate has 3+ years of inpatient surgery experience, Level 1 trauma exposure, and NBSTSA certification.

Start date is 09/27/2026 with 36 hours per week across 12-hour days and nights, rotating shifts. The role supports a busy OR with 22 rooms, covering gen, gyn, gu, oral, oto, bariatrics, ortho, neuro, vascular, thoracic, cardiac, plastics, podiatry, robotics, pediatrics,

Qualifications

• 3+ years of inpatient surgery experience.
• Level 1 trauma experience required.
• NBSTSA certification and BLS are mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Provide surgical technologist support across listed services.
• Work 36 hours per week on 12-hour day/night shifts, rotating.
• May float to Moakley or other OR campuses as needed.
• Assist in a high-volume OR with multiple specialties.

• 36hr DN Rotation,12 hour shifts, 9a or 11a start times. Every 3rd weekend as needed; Every other holiday. Call: 1x per schedule. May float to Moakley if needed.
• Required Exp: 3 plus years of inpatient surgery, Level 1 trauma experience required. Must have trauma experience.
• Required certs: Must have NBSTSA - no other cert is accepted, BLS
• Dept Details: Surgical services- gen, gyn, gu, oral, oto, bariatrics, ortho, neuro, vascular, thoracic, cardiac, plastics, podiatry, robotics, pedi, trauma, spine

• Number of rooms: 22 OR’s / OR is staffed 24/7. Positive attitude, flexible, must be competent in at least 5 of the services listed above, excellent communication skills.

May float to other OR campuses if needed.
