Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a Surgical Technologist for a hospital OR position in Columbus, OH. The role requires at least 3 years of surgical tech experience and proficiency in robotic, neuro, thoracic, and ENT procedures.

Experience circulating and scrubbing, EPIC charting, and a certification in BLS are required. The position covers multiple surgical services with a rotating 40-hour schedule, including call and weekends.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of surgical technologist experience.
• BLS certification required.
• Circulating and scrubbing experience required.
• EPIC charting experience required.
• Proficiency in robotic, neurosurgery, thoracic, and ENT procedures.
• Experience across multiple services including ENT/Plastics, endoscopic, neuro, thoracic, and robotics.
• Teaching/community hospital and Trauma Level I/II experience preferred.
• Education from ACEN or CCNE accredited program.

Responsibilities

• Provide surgical technology support across a wide range of procedures.
• Circulate and scrub in the OR and maintain accurate patient records in EPIC.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Scrub for surgical oncology, thoracic, colorectal, urology, GYN oncology, head & neck/ENT, neuro, ortho, plastics/reconstructive, and robotics.
• Adhere to rotating day/evening schedule totaling 40 hours/week, with call and weekend coverage.
