Job summary

Talented Medical Solutuins is seeking a CV-experienced Surgical Tech for Adventist Health Lodi Memorial in Lodi, California. This full-time role supports the OR with sterile field preparation and instrument passing.

You will work 8-hour day shifts, 40 hours per week, with on-call evening, night and weekend standby. CV experience is required and BLS/CPR certification is expected.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED (required).
• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) or TS-C (NCCT) certification required.
• BLS or CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain sterile surgical fields.
• Anticipate surgeon needs and pass instruments efficiently.
• Assist in cardiovascular procedures (CV experience required).
• Perform instrument, sponge, and needle counts with RN.
• Ensure equipment readiness and inventory accuracy.
• Support patient transport and OR turnover.
• Uphold strict aseptic techniques and safety standards.

What You’ll Do

As a Surgical Tech, you’ll play a critical role in the OR:

Prepare and maintain sterile surgical fields

Anticipate surgeon needs and pass instruments efficiently

Assist in cardiovascular procedures (CV experience required)

Perform instrument, sponge, and needle counts with RN

Ensure equipment readiness and inventory accuracy

Support patient transport and OR turnover

Uphold strict aseptic techniques and safety standards

What You Bring

Required:

High School Diploma or GED

Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) or TS-C (NCCT)

BLS or CPR Certification

Minimum 2 years of recent CV (cardiovascular) experience

Preferred:

Associate’s or Technical Degree

OR training or prior scrub tech experience

CNA certification
