Job summary

Precision Industrial Contractors (PIC) is seeking experienced Structural Welders to join our growing industrial construction team. Structural Welders fabricate and weld structural steel components used in commercial and industrial construction projects across the United States.

This is a traveling position throughout the United States with varying project sites. PIC offers competitive wages, per diem, travel pay, and project completion per diem for qualifying projects.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Previous structural welding experience.
• Ability to read structural drawings and welding symbols.
• Experience with FCAW and SMAW welding processes.
• Ability to work at heights and in industrial environments.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Weld structural steel using FCAW, SMAW, and GMAW processes.
• Read and interpret structural drawings, shop drawings, and welding symbols.
• Fabricate and assemble structural steel components.
• Perform layout, fitting, and tack welding of steel members.
• Install and weld structural supports, platforms, and guardrails.
• Inspect welds to ensure compliance with project specifications.
• Operate welding and fabrication tools.
• Work safely at heights and follow OSHA regulations.
• Assist with rigging and steel erection activities.
