Job summary

Mural Group Industrial is hiring Structural MIG Welders for a travel contract at a major steel manufacturing facility in Apple Grove, West Virginia. The project is expected to run 3 or more months with per diem.

This is a start-now opportunity for welders with 1–3 years of experience, focusing on prep, tack welding and structural welding tasks. The crew will work on four large silos with primary work in flat-vertical positions, using aerial lifts for work above 6 feet.

Qualifications

• MIG welding on carbon steel (GMAW) is required.
• 1–3 years of welding experience is preferred.
• Comfort with vertical welding positions (3G) is needed.

Responsibilities

• Prep, fit, grind, and weld four large silos on site.
• Apply external L-profile stiffeners and remove internal ribs.
• Follow magnetic particle inspection requirements as specified.
