Job summary

Mural Group Industrial is hiring Structural MIG Welders for a travel contract at a major steel facility in Apple Grove, WV. The project runs 3+ months with per diem and night shifts 5:00 PM–2:00 AM, with client-provided welding machines on site.

You will join a crew for four large silos, performing prep-heavy work: grinding, fitting, and welding external stiffeners. Primary work is flat-vertical (no overhead). 1–3 years of MIG welding on carbon steel required; CWI credential is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must have MIG (GMAW) welding experience on carbon steel.
• 1–3 years of welding experience is preferred; project is prep-heavy.
• Background in structural carbon steel plate welding is a plus.
• Comfort with vertical position work and working on lifts.

Responsibilities

• Weld external L-profile stiffeners onto silos and remove internal ribs.
• Handle prep tasks: grinding, fitting, cleaning, and supporting weld sequence.
• Maintain flat-vertical welding position and operate at heights using aerial lifts as required.
• Support travel logistics and safety requirements for a 3+ month contract.
