Job summary

VyTalent Solutions is seeking a travel Sterile Processing Technician for a travel assignment in Charleston, South Carolina. The role is 13 weeks long, 40 hours per week, with a 5x8 shift from 15:00 to 23:30 and rotating weekends/holidays in a hospital setting.

Requirements include 2 years of experience, Level 1 Trauma experience, sterilization, decontamination, and assembly/wrap SPT work, plus CBSPD and/or HSPA certification.

Qualifications

• Sterile processing responsibilities and workflows.
• Experience in Level I trauma environments is preferred.
• CBSPD and/or HSPA certification required or anticipated.

Responsibilities

• Perform sterilization and decontamination in the sterile processing department.
• Assemble and wrap items for surgical services.
• Support operations across facility as needed, including sister sites.
• Float within scope to meet facility needs and rotating weekend coverage.

Pay Range: 1173.17 - 1231.83

Schedule: 5x8s, 15:00 - 23:30 (Rotating Weekends, holiday rotation)

Contract Length: 13 weeks

Candidate Type: Traveler

Responsibilities

• Perform sterilization and decontamination activities within the sterile processing department.
• Complete assembly and wrapping of items for surgical services.
• Support sterile processing operations in a Level I Trauma Center environment.
• Float within scope to meet facility needs, including sister facilities and designated campuses.
• Participate in rotating weekend and holiday coverage as scheduled.
