VyTalent Solutions is seeking a travel Medical Lab Technician for a travel assignment in Charleston, South Carolina. The position requires a BS degree in Medical Technology or related field, ASCP BOC (or equivalent) certification, and 2+ years of relevant experience.

The contract runs for 13 weeks with a 21:00–07:30 schedule and 40 hours per week in a hospital setting. Salary is paid weekly with a target pay range of about $1,646.39 to $1,728.71 per week, and a tax-free stipend may apply.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology or a related medical/scientific field.
• Certification as a Medical Laboratory Technician by ASCP BOC or equivalent.
• Experience in Hematology and/or Chemistry preferred; 2+ years recommended.

Responsabilités

• Support high-quality laboratory testing in a clinical laboratory setting.
• Prepare specimens for testing and perform routine laboratory tests.
• Conduct specialized laboratory tests, perform quality control, and troubleshoot errors.
• Recognize and evaluate computer data problems, troubleshoot instruments, and perform preventive maintenance.
• Communicate technical information to medical staff and trainees; assist with training.
