Job summary

Slate Healthcare is seeking a Travel Sterile Processing Technician for a 13-week assignment in Portland, Maine. The role focuses on decontamination, sterilization, and preparation of surgical instruments, supporting surgical teams and patient safety.

The position requires 2+ years in sterile processing, BLS, and CRCST/CSPDT certification; experience with EMR systems and various instruments is essential. Nights shift with 36 hours weekly and travel responsibilities are included.

Qualifications

• BLS Certification required.
• Experience with various surgical instruments and equipment.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in sterile processing.
• HSPA CRCST or CBSPD CSPDT required.
• EMR System familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Decontaminate, sterilize, and prepare surgical instruments and equipment.
• Work closely with surgical teams to ensure instruments are ready for use.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and efficiency to support patient safety.
