Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a Travel Stepdown RN for a 13-week assignment in San Tan Valley, Arizona. You’ll join a dedicated clinical team, with competitive pay and comprehensive benefits, delivering high-quality care to telemetry patients.

Required: 1 year Stepdown experience, active RN license, BLS and ACLS. Additional certifications like PCCN or NIHSS are preferred. Join us to support patient care across a dynamic travel program.

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as a Stepdown RN.
• Current valid RN license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC).
• Current ACLS Certification (AHA/ARC).

Responsibilities

• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms, vital signs, and telemetry data.
• Administer prescribed meds and treatments with focus on cardiac care.
• Prepare equipment and aid physician during cardiac procedures and exams.
• Maintain comfort and safety of telemetry patients.
• Document patient status and notify physician of changes.
• Respond to life-threatening cardiac emergencies per protocols.
• Document nursing history and assessments for telemetry patients.
• Initiate patient education focused on cardiac health and risk factors.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team for comprehensive telemetry care.
• Maintain patient and client confidentiality.
• Perform other duties within scope of practice.
• Adhere to safety, infection control, and regulatory standards.
