MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Stepdown for a travel nursing job in Madison, Wisconsin. Start date is 10/12/2026. Ideal candidates have 18 months of recent Acute Care PCU/Step-down experience and must meet client facility requirements.

Qualifications

• Requires active RN license and graduation from an accredited nursing program.
• BLS certification required.
• Eighteen months of recent experience in Acute Care PCU/Step-down setting.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs and signs of physiologic and psychosocial changes.
• Apply the nursing process to plan, implement, and evaluate care.
• Document care plans and nursing diagnoses with expected outcomes.
• Educate patient and/or family about care plans.
• Revise care plans based on evaluation and changes in medical plan.
