Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a travel Stepdown RN for a 13-week assignment in Memphis, TN. The role requires recent Stepdown experience, TN RN licensure, and BLS/ACLS credentials.

You will monitor cardiac rhythms, administer medications, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide safe patient-centered care. Preferred PCCN/NIHSS certifications; benefits include travel pay, comprehensive medical insurance, PTO after 1560 hours, and 401(k) matching.

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as a Stepdown RN.
• Current RN license in compliance with state regulations (TN).
• Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC).
• Current ACLS Certification (AHA/ARC).
• NIHSS Certification and PCCN preferred; other certs may be required.

Responsibilities

• Monitors and interprets cardiac rhythms and telemetry data; responds to abnormalities.
• Administers prescribed medications and treatments with focus on cardiac care.
• Assists physicians during cardiac-related procedures and examinations.
• Maintains patient comfort and safety for telemetry patients.
• Documents nursing history and physical assessment for telemetry patients.
• Initiates patient education focused on cardiac health and lifestyle.
