Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Nursing seeks a travel nurse RN PCU in Augusta, GA for a 12-week assignment. The Stepdown RN will monitor telemetry, manage cardiac care, and support patients transitioning from ICU to medical-surgical units.

You will work 12-hour day shifts, 36 hours per week, in a travel role with competitive pay and benefits. Applicants must have 1 year of Stepdown RN experience, an active GA RN license, BLS and ACLS.

Qualifications

• 1 year of recent experience as a Stepdown RN required.
• Current RN license valid per state regulations.
• Active BLS certification (AHA/ARC) required.
• ACLS certification (AHA/ARC) required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and respond to telemetry data and cardiac rhythms.
• Administer medications and treatments per nursing protocols, focusing on cardiac care.
• Prepare equipment and assist physicians during cardiac procedures.
• Educate patients and families about cardiac health and risk factors.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe, patient-centered care.
