Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a Stepdown RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Lima, OH. The role offers nights, a 3 x 12-hour schedule, and competitive weekly pay with comprehensive benefits.

Requirements include 1 year of Stepdown experience, an active RN license, and BLS/ACLS certifications. PCCN/NIHSS are preferred. Travel perks and a dedicated clinical team support travelers nationwide.

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as a Stepdown RN.
• Current valid RN license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC).
• Current ACLS Certification (AHA/ARC).
• Progressive Care Certified Nurse (PCCN) Certification (preferred).
• NIHSS Certification (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Monitors and interprets telemetry data and responds to abnormalities.
• Administers medications and treatments with a focus on cardiac care.
• Aids physicians during cardiac-related procedures and exams.
• Maintains awareness of comfort and safety for telemetry patients.
• Documents patient condition and notifies supervisor or physician as needed.
• Responds to life-saving situations following cardiac protocols.
• Documents nursing history and assessments for telemetry patients.
• Educates patients on cardiac health, risks, and lifestyle changes.
• Collaborates with the multidisciplinary team for comprehensive care.
• Maintains patient and client confidentiality.
• Performs other duties within nursing scope.
• Adheres to safety, infection control, and regulatory standards.
