Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a Stepdown RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Phoenix, AZ. The position offers nights 3x12h with weekly pay of $2,166-$2,304 and start date 12/21/2026.

As a Stepdown RN you will monitor telemetry, administer cardiac medications, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide safe, patient-centered care. Arizona licensed RNs with BLS and ACLS are preferred, with PCCN/NIHSS optional.

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as a Stepdown RN
• Current RN license in compliance with state regulations
• Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC)
• Current ACLS Certification (AHA/ARC)

Responsibilities

• Monitors and interprets cardiac rhythms, vital signs, and telemetry data
• Administers prescribed cardiac medications and treatments
• Prepares equipment and assists with cardiac procedures
• Maintains awareness of telemetry patient comfort and safety
• Documents nursing history and assessment for telemetry patients
• Initiates patient education focusing on cardiac health and lifestyle modifications
• Collaborates with interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care
• Performs duties within scope of practice and hospital safety protocols
