Qualifications

• Active RN license in the United States.

• BLS certification.
• 18 months of recent Acute Care PCU/Step-down experience.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs and signs/symptoms; apply the nursing process to plan, implement, and evaluate care.
• Collect, analyze, and document data; identify nursing diagnoses and outcomes.
• Document plan of care with nursing diagnoses and interventions.
• Initiate and evaluate patient/family education.
• Revise and document plan of care based on evaluation and changes in medical plan.
