MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN with Stepdown specialty for a 13-week assignment in Saint Joseph, Missouri. This travel role requires an active RN license, a nursing degree from an accredited program, BLS certification, and at least 18 months of recent Acute Care PCU/Step-down experience.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs and signs/symptoms; use nursing process to plan, implement and evaluate care.
• Collect and interpret health data; document nursing diagnoses.
• Document plan of care with outcomes and interventions.
• Initiate and evaluate patient and family education.
• Revise plan of care as needed.
