TotalMed RN is seeking a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) travel nurse in Charlottesville, Virginia. This 13-week assignment requires 48 hours per week with a 12-hour night shift.

The PCU nurse provides bedside care, monitors cardiac patients, and administers medications while coordinating with the care team. Ideal candidates have 1–2 years of acute care experience and hold BLS/ACLS, with NIH certification potentially required before assignment.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years recent acute care experience required.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• NIH certification may be required before starting.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic bedside care and stabilize cardiac patients.
• Monitor patients using cardiac and other vital-sign equipment.
• Administer prescribed medications and document responses.
• Collaborate with medical team to ensure patient safety.
