Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing, a Joint Commission-certified staffing agency, seeks a travel RN in Intermediate Care for Bloomington, IL. The role centers on Step-Down/Transitional care with a 13-week assignment and a 36-hour week on a 12-hour night shift.

Qualifications

• Active RN License.
• Degree from accredited nursing program.
• BLS Certifications.
• Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care PCU/Step - down setting.
• Other requirements to be determined by our client facility

Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs and signs/symptoms; use nursing process to plan, implement and evaluate care.
• Collect, analyze and document data and nursing diagnoses from care team.
• Document plan of care with outcomes and selected interventions.
• Initiate and evaluate patient and family education.
• Revise care plan based on evaluation and medical changes.
