Junxion Med Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Stepdown for a travel nursing role in Waco, Texas. The assignment is 13 weeks long, starting March 8, 2026, with 36 hours per week on 12-hour day shifts in a 30-bed stepdown unit.

This travel position requires an RN license, Nursys verification, and ASCENSION credentialing steps. Clinicians will float within the unit and must meet onboarding requirements including EKG exams, core competencies, and multiple Ascension-specific checks.

Qualifications

• HFNC, BiPAP handling experience.
• STABLE GTT management.
• POD#1 CABG/AVR/MVR and CV & Vascular experience including AAA repair, lobectomy, CEA, NSTEMI, STEMI, ACS, pacers, sepsis, GIB, post-DKA, respiratory failure, tracheostomies.
