Job description

Soliant Health is seeking an experienced Retail Pharmacist to travel and join our healthcare team in Nebraska. This role is essential to supporting our mission by providing quality pharmaceutical care, ensuring safe and effective medication distribution, and advising on best practices in patient therapy.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Medication Dispensing: Accurately prepare and dispense medications, ensuring each prescription meets patient needs and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaboration with Medical Staff: Work closely with doctors and nurses to offer expertise on drug therapies, dosage, and potential side effects.
  • Patient Consultation: Educate patients on medication use, possible side effects, and general health practices. Conduct medication reviews to monitor and improve therapeutic outcomes.
  • Inventory Management: Ensure adequate stocks of medications are maintained, stored securely, and comply with state and federal regulations.
  • Compliance and Safety: Adhere to HIPAA standards, state and federal pharmacy regulations, and internal policies to maintain patient confidentiality and safety.

Qualifications:
  • Pharmacy degree from an accredited program; PharmD preferred.
  • Active Nebraska pharmacist license.
  • 3+ years of retail pharmacy experience preferred.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
