American Traveler, LLC. is seeking an Inpatient Speech-Language Pathologist for a day-shift assignment at a Level 3 Trauma Center in Sioux City, IA. New grads are welcome to apply and travel experience is a plus.

The role involves inpatient rehab, 40-hour week, 5x8 schedule with potential 4x10 days, and Epic EMR documentation. Candidates must meet licensure, BLS, and certification requirements and be willing to work some winter holidays.

Qualifications

• Active state SLP license required (or license required if applicable).
• Current BLS certification (AHA preferred; ARC or US Military accepted).
• New graduates welcome to apply.
• At least 1 completed travel contract preferred.
• Epic EMR experience preferred.
• Must be a mandatory reporter.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Discipline-specific skills checklist required.
• Supervisory reference form completed within the last 2 years required.

Responsibilities

• Inpatient rehab unit setting at a Level 3 Trauma Center.
• 5x8 day shift schedule, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM, with possible 4x10 schedule.
• 40-hour work week guarantee.
• Voluntary weekend requirements and no on-call requirements.
• Epic EMR used for documentation.
• Provide assessment and treatment for inpatient rehab patients.
• Contribute professional and clinical knowledge as part of an interdisciplinary care team.
• Required to work 2 of 3 winter holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Day, New Year's Day).
• Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility.
• Past UPH employees are restricted from working travel assignments at other UPH facilities within 12 months.
• First-time travelers will be considered.
