Job summary

Job description

Seeking a travel Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide therapy services in an acute care setting.

• Responsibilities include: diagnosing, treating, and preventing speech, language, and swallowing disorders; creating individualized treatment plans; performing screenings; educating patients and families; reporting progress; and documenting accurately.
• Qualifications: minimum 6 months of experience (new graduates encouraged), ASHA-SLP certification, state licensing, BLS certification, and ability to perform physical tasks such as standing and walking for extended periods.
• Skills required: knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology; ability to develop tailored therapy plans; strong communication skills.
