American Traveler seeks a Speech-Language Pathologist for a travel assignment in Grand Island, Nebraska, covering SNF and home health settings. 2+ years of experience preferred; BLS; valid driver’s license; state license if applicable; 9-hour days, 36 hours per week, 4x9 schedule.

Qualifications

• Current BLS certification

• Valid driver’s license required for consideration
• Completion of an accredited SLP program preferred

Responsibilities

• Administer and document therapeutic interventions and assess client needs to develop individualized therapy plans
• Document observations and services provided, and notify physicians of changes in patient condition
• Provide direct consultation with physicians and interdisciplinary team members
• Train clients, family members, and staff on interventions and equipment use
• May supervise therapy assistants in accordance with regulations
• Onsite therapy supervisor, clinical specialist, and director available for support and training
• New graduates will be considered and trained
