  • Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology is required.
  • Active California SLP License (or eligibility).
  • CCC-SLP preferred.
  • SNF or post-acute experience preferred.
  • Strong communication, clinical reasoning, and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and treat speech, language, cognitive-communication, voice, and swallowing disorders.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans based on each patient's needs.
  • Perform dysphagia evaluations and provide evidence-based swallowing treatment.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, rehabilitation professionals, patients, and families.
  • Complete accurate and timely documentation.
  • Educate patients and caregivers on treatment plans and home exercise strategies.

Travel Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)

Location: Placerville, CA
Setting: Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF)
Assignment Length: 13 Weeks (Strong Potential for Extension)
Weekly Pay: $2,890 – $3,210/week
Schedule: Guaranteed 30 hours/week with opportunities to work up to approximately 40 hours per week based on availability and interest in Part B and long-term care caseloads.
