Job summary

Sweetwater Care is seeking a Travel Speech Language Pathologist to work across California in varied clinical settings. You will assess and treat speech, language, and swallowing disorders, developing individualized plans and collaborating with doctors, nurses, and families.

This role requires a valid SLP license, flexibility to travel, and strong communication skills. Contracts offer flexible durations (minimum 13 weeks) with competitive pay and travel stipends.

Qualifications

  • Valid SLP license.
  • New Grad or Seasoned SLP accepted.
  • Willingness to travel and adapt to new locations across California.

Responsibilities

  • Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in patients of all ages.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans to improve communication skills and swallowing disorders.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including doctors, nurses, and families to deliver comprehensive care.
  • Educate patients and their families on therapeutic strategies for communication and speech improvement.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and progress notes as required.
