Job summary

Powerback Rehabilitation seeks a Speech-Language Pathologist for nationwide 13-week assignments as a Journey Traveler. You will organize and provide speech-language services across diverse settings to facilitate rehabilitation and improve patient outcomes.

You will supervise CFYs and students, coordinate with the rehab team, and document care per licensure and plan of care, ensuring high-quality service delivery.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Communication Disorders, or similarly titled area acceptable to ASHA.

Responsibilities

• Organize and provide speech-language services across locations to support rehab programs.
• Direct patient participation in selected tasks to restore and enhance performance in communication and swallowing.
• Facilitate learning of skills essential for communication and swallowing and promote functional communication.
• Direct activities to promote health within the scope of practice and ethical guidelines.
• Supervise CFYs, students and support personnel per state licensure requirements.
• Arrange and document services ensuring timely records and adherence to plans of care.
