Role and Responsibilities:

This position is for a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) working in a skilled nursing and rehabilitation setting. Key duties include conducting speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing evaluations, developing personalized care plans, providing direct therapy, and documenting progress in electronic medical records. You will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive care to adult and geriatric patients recovering from illness, injury, or surgery, with caseloads that may include stroke, neurologic, cardiopulmonary, and cognitive disorders. The role involves working in therapy spaces, resident rooms, and other areas, focusing on high-quality patient outcomes and professional teamwork.

Qualifications and Skills:

Candidates must hold a valid license, have SNF experience, and preferably travel experience. The position requires a passion for working with adult populations, clinical growth, and contributing to patient recovery. Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills are essential.
