Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist for a 13-week travel assignment in Cumberland, Maryland. You will evaluate and treat communication and swallowing disorders, develop individualized therapy plans, and collaborate with a clinical team to support patient outcomes.

Required licensure and BLS; preferred CCC-SLP and a Master's in Speech-Language Pathology. Travel-friendly position with comprehensive benefits and support from a specialty staffing team.

Qualifications

• Valid SLP license in Maryland.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology preferred; CCC-SLP ideal.
• CCC-SLP preferred; travel experience a plus; new grads welcome.
• Other licenses/certifications may be required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate speech, language, voice, fluency, and swallowing disorders using standardized tests.
• Design personalized therapy programs based on evaluation findings and goals.
• Monitor progress, adjust plans, and document in the EMR system.
• Educate patients and families on communication strategies and home exercises.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care.
• Maintain infection control and safety during therapy sessions.
• Pursue ongoing professional development and quality improvement.
