Minimum guarantee is 32 hours per week. Duties include maintaining patient care records, reporting billing information, and collaborating with staff to implement treatment plans.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Speech Language Pathology.
• ASHA certification.
• Licensed by the State in the designated geographic area.
• Ability to lift and move patients up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and ensure accuracy of patient care records for all patients on personal caseload.
• Report and interpret treatment results for billing purposes and patient records.
• Provide direct patient care including evaluation and treatment planning as prescribed.
• Participate in development and presentation of in-services for the facility.
• Supervise support personnel in immediate work areas as appropriate.
• Perform clinical functions: screens, evaluations, development of treatment plans, and delivery of treatment per policies.
• Participate in patient care meetings as appropriate.
• Assist with community education and public relations activities of the facility.
• Educate patients' families and staff on treatment plans and therapy goals.
• Coordinate with other staff to carry out treatment plans.
